Hey
I have Eunos Mazda 30x aussie version, 93, 1.8L v6, 4 speed automatic, model ES.
After doing some hard work over the phone I found one transmission block from a wrecker but I am not sure if its the right one or not. Apparently, there are two types - one with single oil sump and the other one dual oil sump. Is there any information on this 4 speed tranny? Can a dual sump be fitted into single or the other way around? How can i find out about which one I have without getting the car to towed to the mechanic?
Any help will be appreciated
Thanks
K

Re: Eunos 30x tranny swap
There isn't a lot of info on the automatics, except that they suck really bad.
The only ATX you can use is from another car with the exact same engine as yours, the year does not matter. One from a KL engine will not work. If its bolted to a 1.8L V6, it will work.
Also, install an aftermarket transmission cooler, your transmission will last longer this way.
