Installation of a Tach...

I am going to put a tachometer in my 92' GS I know I have to wire it to the negative side of the coil, but I can't figure out which wire that is....There are 2 plugs going into the top of the distributor cap..any help would be appreciated

get a voltometer and use that to figure out which is which.

I got it in. There are two plugs on the top of the distributor cap. One has 6 wires going into it, and the other has 3 wires going into it. It is the middle wire in the one with three...
