A day late and dollar short

Post by Maliceday »

Hello all.
I overlooked this part of the page when I first joined on and just started right into the tech portion, so I figured I would go ahead and tell you some about me.
Most people call me Boster or Rain, just depends on where they know me from so either way works really. I'm 27 and live just north of Columbus Ohio.
I've been tinkering with cars for a while now, and have always been one that, if I can't fix it or not sure what needs done, I will consult a book or someone who does know, and then get the work done. If I'm not sure I can handle the job just yet, I will usually either find someone that knows how to do the task and assist them, or if all else fails I'll take it into a shop... I hate shops though.
I have recently picked up a white '94 MX-3 RS, 1.6L. It is currently my daily driver but I plan on also getting another vehicle so I can do more extensive work on the car other than just things I can perform in the few hours I have after getting out of work or on my days off between 2 1/2 kids (one due Aug. 27th), time with the wife, 2 dogs and plenty of other things. Time and money is always an issue though, as every person on this site knows.
Hopefully I will be able to read through and pick up a lot of tips and tricks, as well as a larger knolage base on the ins and outs of the MX-3. I have a few dreams about my find that I know will turn into a nightmare in the long run, and more than likly never going to happen, but just a few things is I want to convert to AWD and fit a TT EJ-20. Ever gonna happen? Depends... Does anyone have thousands of dollars I can borrow?

AWD, possible with a BPT swap and you can source the parts, but an EJ-20 conversion with a Subaru AWD drivetrain, never gonna happen.

Anyway, welcome to the club ;)

Welcome. Yeah, you might as well dream  It doesn't hurt, unless oyu get into a project past the turn-back point, like the guy forever trying to sell his rotary MX-3.
I wish you easy modding :)
