Hey everybody, I've been looking around for a while, and haven't seen a thread where people posted pictures of them in/around their cars. I've seen a few individual ones in worklogs and how-tos, but never a thread specifically for the pictures.
Anyways, I think it would be pretty cool to see everybody doing what they enjoy.
Try not to post unless you have a picture to contribute! It will keep the thread cleaner, and easier to browse.
Here we go, I'll start it off! Cleaned her last night! =)

Please ignore the lip, It's on my TO-DO list!
didn't clean her up but i figure i could give you at least one other person's pics up although yours is in much better shape than mine lol i still love my MX though
I'm glad someone else finally posted! I couldn't see the image though, it asks me to login to my live account when I click your link.
Mine's faded red at almost every other angle!! My girlfriend took that and it caught the light perfectly to make the car look great! Other than the lip of course :S
You can do it, never give up!! My repairs/mods have all been pushed back many times, but I'm finally getting my momentum back up.
Keep records too, so you can do a worklog! I'll be posting most of mine in LARGE chunks as I do work.
there we go i think you should be able to view it now that i used image shack:) http://yfrog.com/0dstartwuj" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Not bad at all!! She has a solid body as far as I can tell! A few little dings but we all have them(I have some bigass ones anyways), it looks a little faded but that's nothing you can't work out with a good buffing compound and wax to perfection.
It's annoying to maintain it that way, but if you're careful during cleaning you won't have to re-do it all the time, and it will help keep a near factory sheen to the paint!
I let mine stay faded for now b/c I'm planning to paint it eventually anyways. I just keep it sparkling clean
It's awesome to see another red one on here though, there are too few!!
i plan the same to repaint it ya the body is solid except that my rear bumper is terrible and the drivers side mirror is messed up but other than that it's got potential.
@Hobbyist93
Awesome, you're luckier than I am ;( My car runs strong, but needs a new PS door, as well as some dent removal on almost every other panel.
nice! but i think you need to post more pics, mm92...
well, in some ways, i'm envious of you guys... mine's in pretty good condition, but has heaps of stone chips on the bonnet & a few small scratches/tiny dents on nearly every other panel, which means that it doesnt look bad enough to reduce the price when i bought it, nor warrant trying to fix it (its all so minor, and would cost the same as fixing triple the damage)... but hey, you get that...
here's a few pics i took yesterday as i was cruising along the Swan River (for work, of course!) and quickly stopped off... 'scuse the crappy phone-camera quality... :/
here's a link to the worklog, which has plenty of pics: viewtopic.php?f=46&t=75758&start=15
I don't have any photos of me with my MX... I never thought of taking a pic like that.
Guess I don't have a car I'm proud enough of yet. Ha.

There's nothing wrong with that, you'll have her cleaned up sooner than you realize =) Having the pictures beforehand is good too, it gives you something to compare to, to remind you that your hard work is paying off!
ethand...we need to get you a decent meal...and maybe a gym membership. Wow you're skinny!
