92 Mx-3 aftermarket parts?

Post by mx3worthy4link »

I recently bought a 92 Mx-3 GS and have noticed majority if not all aftermarket parts ive been looking at (i.e steering hub adapters, headlights, dashmats etc) fit 93 and up Mx-3's with no mention of the 92s. Does the 93 stuff fit the 92s or is there just some ungodly hatred for the pioneering year?

there were a couple changes between 93/94 but most parts are interchangeable. only differences i know of are a thermostat sensor, the interior and the 94+ has different ball joints.

He's asking about '92.
They're exactly the same as '93, except the SEs, which are interchangeable, too.

So I dont have to have the discretion of seeking out specifically 92 parts that are not OEM? The 93 parts will fit/be close enough to make work?

Quite right. Everything is the same between the '92 and '93 models, as long as they're the same trim (RS, or GS).
