i have a 94 rs with 5 sp. i was driving one day and all the sudden i could not get it in to 2ed or 4th or reverse? i dont know what to do. i have a 92 rs i bought for a parts car will that tranny fit in my 94? i really dont want to do a swap. what do u think is wrong with it?

Can you double-clutch into the gears? Your synchros could be shot... If that's the case, you can either rebuild it or swap it for another one. Both are really your only options if it's an internal problem. Both cases involve removal of the tranny.

it will not go in at all? will a 92 sohc trany fit on my dohc motor?
