MX3 in canada

is it legal to buy a car in canada and then bring it over , i found a great deal on a 93 with leather interior and so on and has 105k on it... can someone in toronto go look at it for me.. lol im in NY but i want that car !!!! so maybe some one can lend a hand with this i really want to get a hold of this mx3 before its to late .... ive looked for about 3 months for this model and havent found one... so anyone please? give me a hand ....
