HID's in Ontario

Post by MX3-4U2NV »

Hey guys, I have a HID sponsor from my Truck Club I run. I have started an Ontario Group buy there for HID's.

I have three group buys with the company I would be getting them from in the past. Never had an issue with them myself, but have had a person or two who has. The faulty parts get replaced.

Anywho, without getting in to too many details, I am gauging interest on whether or not any of my Ontario friend would also be interested in getting in on the group buy for HID's I have running on my truck site.

They are 35W, $75/set shipped to my front door.

Should there be enough interest, I might make it site wide here, and talk to Jeff about the group buy policies, etc.

But mainly, I am trying to see if there is any interest in Ontario solely, and if there is, and I do this quick enough, I might be able to bring them to the May mega meet.

So, this thread will notify me of replies, so I will try to pay attention the best I can.

they plug right into your stock halogen headlights, meaning that it totally F--ks your cut off and blind other drivers on the road.

Retrofitting projectors are the more proper way of putting HID's into your car as they keep the cut off

The ones I have access to are complete plug and play

Here is a reply regarding temperature and bi-xenon
The temperatures will determine the color of the bulb, such as 3000K (Lumen output - 4000 lm) - Golden yellow
5000K (Lumen output - 3250 lm) - White with yellowish tint
6000K (Lumen output - 3000 lm) - Diamond white
8000K (Lumen output - 2800 lm) - White with blue tint
10000K (Lumen output - 2600 lm) - blue

bixenon will convert both high beam and low beam to HID. and they are more expensive.

Thank you

After I got their last response, I wrote back asking what B-xenon's will go for, still waiting for an answer.
