The black/yellow should be live when you turn on your key to double check the power.
ahhh okay. So you use the MTX reverse switch, but you splice into it, with the black/yellow wire as the "live" wire when the key is on.
GOT IT!!!!
edit:
okay... sorta go it. I now know about the reverse lights, neutral safety/clutch switch, but there is 1 more i'm confused on.
On the clutch pedal assembly, there are 2 switches:
The top switch (#18) is the one I'll be splicing into for the neutral safety switch.
However, what is #20?
edit2:
okay found some people calling it the "starter interlock" switch. Still searching but i can't find anything on how it wires up. I'm trying to make this as factory as possible haha. I want all my sensors wired up correctly!
edit3:
Okay just confirmed it with Ryan. just to confirm for those who might be curious as well:
#18 is the Clutch switch. This switch is 2 thin wires that are for CRUISE CONTROL. They are NOT the wires you splice into to get a working neutral/clutch safety switch.
#20 is the clutch cut switch A.K.A. "Starter Interlock." This switch is the one you wire up the neutral safety wires to, and is the one that disables the starter when the clutch is not pressed down.
