cats have been walking on that car.

when you go , take a 12 gauge shotgun just in case

if the dirty rodents show themselves, try to blast them from within 10 yards. Blow their little furry heads clean off

Looks like the lright rear rim is bent...right at the top. Could be camera tricks. That is my dream...to find a minty low miles Raspberrry or Black SE just sitting in a garage somewhere.

A little part of me hates you. If you put any sort of animal print or sparkly crap anywhere near it I'll make it my mission in life to make you cry.

Im not sure how much he is asking cuz his words to me were "your welcome to it"...
It was purchased new for his wife but she didnt drive a stick well enough.
So he drove it... but he hated the color. So he thought he would save it for his
teenage boys to drive.... but they do not like the color either. Is why it has sat for 5yrs.
The car isnt for sale and has never been for sale.... but.... he saw my ad and here we are now.
So.. im heading to his place tomorrow afternoon some time. I will give her a bath and take
her a new battery and see how it goes from there. My efforts are not going un-rewarded.
Like i said when i came to this forum, there are MANY mx-3's here in MS. Just not for sale.
I don't get why none of them have found this forum or needed another avenue like this forum
for Q & A about trouble shooting the car problems. Im just glad to have had the 3's i have.
I might take my movie camera tomorrow. If not, i will take a regular camera and keep u guys posted.

make me cry? WHY? I havent even been to see it yet and already the fingers are pointing.
No animal print i promise. Nothing that sparkles or twinkles.... cross my heart. LOL!

Wow. You really have won the MX-3 owner award! I used to be like that with old Italian Scooters, and VW Bugs. I'm impressed!
I hope it's perfect.

GOOD LUCK!!

He just called me again and said he got it running with a new battery, she has 89,000 miles on her now
and he says she needs tires, belts & hoses and a Head gasket... Is the head gasket a big deal?
U think its wasted if it needs a head gasket at that low of miles on it?

If it sat for 5 years, then yes, I would do the gaskets. They have all more than likely dried out. VERY smart plan to do them, and very worth it.

holy smokes - 89,000 miles is so low! I bet that thing is mint on the inside! I suppose the dust has protected the paint to some extent too - at least it wasn't sitting outside... wow great find!

NO. Don't swap it. Ok I might be a bit over the top on the "keep it stock" bandwagon at times but this is serious. I know that the MX-3 will never be collectable but how can you pass up the chance to own a bone stock, low mile, immaculate MX-3? An SE no less?

The only reason I swapped my engine is because the original had 275,000km on it. It would be a relatively simple process to pull the engine and freshen up the dried up bits. Do an oil change before you move it...in fact before you start it again. There will be a significant amount of condensation In the crankcase from sitting so long.

I am seriously so jealous.
