clutch master no worky

Post by 93SOHC »

I finally got my clutch hose today so I hooked up the lines and tried to bleed it. NO fluid coming out? I am using the master from my trans(96 mx6) which sux cause the line outlet is right up against the fire wall. The rod is going in and out but it is not pulling fluid from the brake master. I thought maybe I need to use a mx3 clutch master but the fact that the rod pushes the piston should be good enough to make it work. It worked fine in the car I pulled the motor and trans from(it was a running/ driving car) so wtf is going on. I have seriously wasted over 2 hours trying to bleed this thing to no avail. Anything im doing wrong or did the clutch master just magically fail for no reason? Im at a loss here, so im done for the day, but any help would be great :x :x :x

I hav heard many remedys to try and force fluid through the thing such as blowing 1 02 2 psi through the system using a modded master cyl cap with an air fitting, but I dont trust that. A good one I heard was to use a huge syringe full of brake fluid with a hose on the end attached to the bleeder and force it through backwards. Im going to check the online manuals too
