Got another MX3!

Post by Sam Baker »

Hey guys, been outta the game for a long time but I'm back! I used to have a blue KLZE and a white K8.. crashed the blue car, sold the white car, and now 3 years later I have a red GS. It's one of the most original unmolested cars I've ever bought (even has the factory cd/tape deck!) but I'm sure that won't last. Anyway here she is :mrgreen:

So far my plans are:

* H&R Springs
* KYB GR-2 Struts
* Those sweet projector headlights they sell now, lol
* Some kind of light-weight 16s with grippy tires
* KLZE a little bit down the road

Is there any place to post project logs now?
Cheers :welder:

Hey Sam! Welcome back! I am sure there are a handfull that remember you from "back in the day" haha.

Anyways, good to see that you got another MX. Here is the section to post up your projects:

As for your suspension.. Consider ZX2 S/R struts maybe for H&R's, will hold up better to the drop and increased spring rate. They also make Ksport and D2 coilovers for the MX3 now, so keep that in mind as well! Can't wait to see what becomes of the car

Holy crap, rad! Thanks guys :mrgreen: so glad to be back! I tried the ZX2 struts before and they didn't hold up at all for some reason. That looks like a great deal with the tokicos, and that's awesome that people are finally making coilovers for mx3's! Woo can't wait haha.

Ya, you're not the only one. A few local Mx-3'ers have blown them too in just a few years use on mild suspension drops.

LOL really? I thought the chrome ones looked pretty cool too. I'm not sure if I'll keep the car red.. but you think black would look the best anyway?

And wow, K-Sport! Fully adjustable suspension, I cannot believe it. This is too cool hahaha!
