Common guys, lol. What could I do to my car to get more hp and torque? Besides going standard, although I have really been considering that.
Thanks

You need to do a little reading before you get all gung ho. Start with the V6 FAQ section. Learn a little bit about your engine and the ZE engine and what's involved in swapping them. In doing so you will learn a lot about the weakness of your auto tranny and why people get rid of them as well as what's involved in going turbo.

KLZE will blow the trans too.

It's about power, the K8 stock trans will not hold up to any power adders, swap or turbo. That is your weekest link, and those are the only ways to get more power. With bolt ons, you can get about another 10hp

I'm in greater vancouver area b.c...so..the KL-ZE only works with a manual transmission I am assuming...Automatic is for sissies. ..I should just look into buying an entirely different mx3, the one I actually want..it would probably cost around the same amount as swaping everything...? :|
I learned how to drive standard in two days at my stepsisters place ONLY because she broke her hand and I had no choice, unless we wanted to walk everywhere in a town that is 40 min from kamloops..the nearest actual city,lol..It was a subaru tiny 4x4 suv/car,lol..it was a riot..I'm sure you all recall your fist time learning a standard,LOL. decisions decisions.

Even if you can find a POS GS 5sp donor car you can easily get everything you need to switch to manual. If you can get a bit of money for your Auto car though, finding a nice GS 5sp would be the easiest way to get where you want to be. The engine swap part is pretty easy.

A word of advice. If you're planning to swap in a ZE, look for an OBD1 car. It will make your swap much easier. Otherwise you'll have to make friends with Daninski, the OBD2 swap genius.
