so atm i believe that my synchro has gone bad and soon i will be needing a new tranny.
but i was also thinking that maybe my clutch needs to be bled.
could this be a problem that would cause shifting to be very hard? most of the time i have to double clutch just to change gears
input appreciated

May just need to be bled, but may also need to be replaced. When the clutch gets really worn it doesn't disengage fully and it gets harder and harder to shift.

Before you open up the tranny, take a good look at the clutch pilot bearing, and the end of the tranny input shaft, where the pilot bearing fits. If the input shaft is worn out or the pilot bearing busted, shifting can become almost impossible.
