hi
i will start but listing mods to car

2.5 klze with pauter rods wiseco pistons full ferrea valve train colt cams turbo grind 210. 355l int 200 350l exh acl mains/rod head port msd coil and a6 box custom single plenum intake 65 mm tb 440cc nissan injectors garrett t3/t4 60trim, .63 a/r
tail 38 mm w/g all custom hot and clod pipes and of cours a fat front mout
im using ms&s. i sure im forgetting somethig but in a nut shell thats my car ..
running 10 psi to start hopeing for 15-20 but will see how that goes in the tunning

so heres my question i was running my pcv system with out a catch can and the pcv valve took a ****sending 10 psi in to my crank case intinly pushing out my oil pan gasket what a leak, the hot pipes that were raped in header rap coverd in oil and started to burn .
my qusetion is how did you guys plum your pcv?

and the second question is since i have no space under the hood for a catch can with out removing the stupid e vap can or chol caister i have removed it . and since then the car seems to have a fuel cut under heavy thorttle, if i slowly roll on the gas it works fine makes boost , is this evap can seen by the stock ecu or ms&s ...
im temped to hook it back up and see if it makes a diffrence .

see cause im not sure if its the pcv plumming or the evap can is causing the problem ... normaly i look fora day on this site and find answers from other posts but im at a loss on this for now
any help

well it seem to be the evap can purge solenoid and can pluged it back in and bam full boost again :2thumbsup:
news to me :shrug:

any input as to why

what does that soplenoid do for boosted cars tho? mine broke so i plugged it. My vris still works fine.. what is it for?

MX-3 w/ curved neck millenia klde, boosted @ 5 psi. /bov and wastegate are good!/ nitto drag radial/ gutted interior/ millenia red top injectors, vortech fmu/aem wideband/ all bolts ons/ Car put together 100% by me. Mechanic? who needs a mechanic? ew.. real men work on their own cars!

hell if i know thats why i posted it

as far as i know its only perpose is to vent the gas tank .
thats why i took it off in the frist place and just had the tank vent to the air
maybe the ecu see it i not know any input

hey since i got someone reading how did you do your pcv system :?

I did it the dirty way.. i got rid of it.. well its venter to the air too.. been running like that for over a year.. i had my main seal blow, i dont know if it was because of that.. its running good now.

A friend of mine with a pgt , is using the millenia s pcv valve, supposebly it works for him but well he isnt running well right now. air fuel problems which may be unrelated.

o realy
i tryed the open setup at the same time as taking off the evap . so put it back on incase it was that too.

i didn't have a problem till the pcv valve broke and bam boost in the crankcase witch pushed out most of my oil pan gasket,witch soked my header wrap and of course smoked like hell. i thought the car was on fire lol

here's how i got it now. pcv valve int man, valve cover to valve cover with a T to catch can, catch can out to pre turbo
for all time vacume o and the pcv valve im using is it listed for a mellinea s call me paranoid if you want but spend 2 hr taking off all the hot pipes ,turbo and hafe of the cold pipes ,just to get to 3 oil pan bolt is a pain in the a-- lol
