clutch's friction point is different everyda-----SOLVED!!11!

Post by kab-rst »

ok, i need someone to explain that to me, i just cant figure that out

changed the clutch master cyl. in 2007
changed the slave cyl. in 2008
just changed the shole clutch line in 2009

when i dosen't use the clutch for a while, let's say during night, or after 1h of highway in 5th gear, the clutch pedal feel is completely gone, the pedal come's up again by itself, but dosent offer any resistance at all

so i pump the pedal a dozen of times and it comes back to PERFECT... i'm doing trafic, it'S irreprocheable, i'm doing highway and i'm loosing it completely...

i changed everything, ajusted my pedal to tha maximum, and bleeded for 1h for basically nothing

how can my clutchline assembly cant hold the pressure,
it sure can build it, why wouldn't it hold it....

i have no leaks whatsoever and everything have between 5 and 10 000km max

HELP!

did you change the clutch line at all? i know with mine i had peddle feel but it was still slightly leaking out of where it connects to my ss braided clutch line. now i noticed this leak before i drove it so i cant say i had these exact symptons, but i did have a leak while maintaining some clutch peddle feel.

you havent noticed any fluid loss? its possible your slave or master is faulting also even tho they are fairly new.

i re-cheked andre-tighted everything

the slave is from 2007, MAYBE,since i'm often at the trac, it didin't hold, i ordered one
the master is from 2008,it wasen't new, it was rebuilded core, so maybe it's the problem.
when i tried to ajust my pedal yesterday i notice a drop of oil where the pedal meets the master from the inside.

so i ordered a master/slave and changing everything once again....i'm so sick of it, i missed 2 night out at the trac because of that....and there is one this afternoon

problem solved,
i changed everything, and as allways it'S the last part that was the problem, at least i havent done that for nothing

the slave cyl was the problem, couldn't hold the pressure. bleeded for 3 min and now it's brand new
