Shifter bushings..

Post by wytbishop »

I have a diagram of the bushings in the bottom of the shifter, but I don't know the dimensions of the bushing at the transmission end. If anyone has one to measure or can help me somehow I would appreciate it. I bought a length of Nylatron GS yesterday and I'm gonna cut some bushings this weekend.

Just wondering, would you be able to cut some bushings for a pacesetter shifter if I give you measurements? The outside diameter of these bushings is different from every other shifter.

Absolutely. Be as detailed and as precise as you can and I'll cut them for you. You try em and if they fit good, you can pay me later.

How's that?

That sounds perfect, but I won't be doing that just now, maybe in a week or 2. Is that ok?

I've never machined this stuff before so lets just see how they turn out before I start promising a bunch of stuff. If they work well I will ask Jeff if it's ok to sell some around the forum.
