Advice: Headlights?!

Post by koppit »

Hey guys,

I just managed to install some chrome altezza taillights in my mx3, but as I was driving back from the store tonight I realized just how dim my headlights are. I already bought some brighter bulbs for the stock headlights, but haven't installed them yet. I'm thinking that I don't even want to go that route, as I'm reading that even after a good polish, foggy headlights can still be foggy.

That being said, what do you guys recommend - projectors or something else?

halos are the rings around the projector bulbs, so technically their one thing, i haven't seen LED headlights but that might be neat, the best way for you to go is either get a set of JDM or EDM headlights or get some projectors, there's currently a group buy going on for one style of projectors so if you wanna save some money now would be the time

If you want more of a OEM look with better light output buy my JDM lights. I can get my dad to swing by and drop em off for you if you want as he lives in White Rock.

PM me if you want, we can chisel out a price, but it will be much cheaper then projectors.

I saw the black projectors .. but if I'm going to spend that much money on headlights, I want to get everything else in good order, too - suspension and drive belts are a little more important right now :)

Evo_Spec: I completely agree! Been trying to get someone who wrecked their mx3 in north van to sell me hers, but she's not responding to emails. I guess when I offered to help her part it out here, she didn't like that? I had honeycombs on my last car, I can't decide to go with those or some nice darker ones to go with the paint (which I may end up painting over anyways).

Get some GS27 and polish your lights by hand with a terry towel. You will notice difference when you drive at night.
