Steering wheel replacement and questions

Post by onlytrueromeo »

How hard is it to replace the steering wheel? I know I can remove the cruise and "stick it back on", or I can try to rig up my own custom buttons, etc.

Also, what is a good price for a Eunos steering wheel?

Easy, but the horn button can be a bit tricky to rewire, but it's necessary for legality, but iit's not hard.

Removing the wheel is easy, and it only held on by 1 nut, but you have to wiggle it, and it'll just let go and you'll hit yourself in the head.

Cruise control controls can be relocated or even custom modified with your own buttons, just need to put in some resistors to reflect the ones in the stock controls. Search for related threads udner my name and jschrauwen's. I've relocated mine (you can see in the worklog) but I helped jbeef work on his own custom button setup
