Re: [WTB] 2.5L KLDE/ECU
im not saying you are definatly going to get the same deal but if you want a de not a ze thats were i would look first alot of junkyards have a parts locater just tell them what engine you want with the lowest miles they can find they should be able to find one for you i would say for engine vaf and ecm you could be anywere from 500 - 2000 depending on the mileage on the engine. good luck man the thing is is any de is going to be cheaper then finding a k8 with low miles and the car is a beast after the swap.i mean if you like the k8 and thought the car was quick like i did you will be very impressed

if someone pays 2k for motor ecu and vaf i wouldnt consider them very smart, im got an ecu for sale, make me an offer

						Re: [WTB] 2.5L KLDE/ECU
that would be the extreme of the motor having really low miles if i found a motor ecm and vaf with 20,000 miles i would pay 2000 for it

yes 2 grand is stupid..ive found a 94 probe gt with a recently swapped in klze with performance exhaust and other goodies..can pick it up for 400..only problem is it doesnt start..turn over or anything, problem with the harness im assuming, right now my swap is set back a tad due to me getting other goodies for the mx3...my main issue with getting that probe is tearing out the motor..i already need to rip out one i dont want the extra hassle.

Re: [WTB] 2.5L KLDE/ECU
i was trying to give the guy a price range and that is fairly accurate a remanufactered klde is way more then two grand so it depends on what you want yes you can get cheaper engines its just like anything you get what you pay for you waant a motor that is cheap it probley dont run or has un even compression if you want a low milage strong running engine its going to cost around a grand or more like i said look up a reman engine which is just a completley rebuilt engine it is more then 2 grand
