Premium Member Benefits

Post by Nd4SpdSe »

On the CDN-NTC club forum, but you actually have a someone limited access to the forum unless you pay $20 to become a premium member. Now, the $20 goes to stuff like the Weekend Adventure Off-Road Camping weekend, but for the forums, with being a Premium Member, you gets perks like:

- Signature & Avatar
- Read-Only to the Buy & Sell Forum
- Access to the Deals in the Sponsor & Vendor Forums
- Access to the Service Manual Forum
- Access to the How-To's Forums (Like our FAQ section)
- Access to the Owner's Rigs Forum (Like our Worklogs Section)

Considering this site is means to be a resource and just a focal point of a local community for gathering and events, all may not apply like the no access to the FAQ & Service Manuals, and I think public access to the Worklogs would be nice too, but for the rest. it would be a good idea. It may be a good idea to help with paying for hosting the site, and to gain non-essential functions like a sig and avatar, help against scammers in the For Sale section (could still give full access in the WTB section), Even requiring to pay to get access to the group buy sections is something that would pay for itself.

kind of a good idea but also why not start paying for oxygen, oh wait don't give government any ideas. We already have way too many taxes especially in WA.

Actually the oxygen is free, it's just you're paying for the extra shop of nitrous oxide ;)
