Doing the pretty thing

Post by hppwdn »

Well, after a few years of going fast, eventually I decided to make the car presentable as well.

Dropped it off at the paintshop yesterday. Should be back in a month or so. Then I get to put it back together.

Here's a little to do list while it's there.
1) Shaving wiper nozzles on hood
2) Shaving wiper nozzle on hatch
3) Shaving door lock on the hatch
4) Shaving antenna
5) Painting the engine bay

Nice! What color are you painting it? I ripped apart my engine bay this summer and painted it all myself since I didn't have the money to get it painted...used POR 15, so the paint is ridiculously strong, but doesnt look super bright and shiny. Can't wait to see the finished product!.

It's gonna be a similar color only a little darker. I'll post pics when it's done and put back together.

Yes, It's Sean's Del Sol, and also Sean's gut starring in some of the pics.

Also pictured would be My Civic Hatch, My IS300, my GFs PT Cruiser, The extra white probe at the house Sean is keeping for a friend, and way in the garage is Sean's White Probe. If I woulda gona and gotten my GFs 78 Super Beetle Convertible out of storage we coulda had the whole line up. We need to thin out our car situation a little.
