Low and high bass

I have low or high bass problem.... i turn it up and it sounds horrible (like pass 20 volume level) it is two subs on a 800 w mono sub... need help .....
any thoughts??

what are the frequency settings at and gain levels? and make sure the mono amplifier is a actual monoblock cause if it isnt and there is a high pass and low pass settings on the amp, then make sure its on lp(low pass)

the bass booster is at 6 and then gain is like 500 i think and the other nob can't remember that one does it is at .6

gain of 500 sounds wrong that may be your LP filter, if anything. That should be around 100.
It tells you how to set up your amp in the destructions....

Here's a really good one I found, when it comes to comprehension, its not a how-to though.

I think the general idea is setting the LP to somewhere between 75-100
Bass boost low
Then turn up your speakers to near-distortion, then turn the gain up untill the subs are near distortion. Done.
