Keep it on th DL! Now everyone will want my wonderful toys! At least they don't know that I'm SilverMan!
I like that this video makes it look like I didn't get spanked as bad as I did! When he got to the finish line, he came back halfway down the track to hand me my A--.
Man, that was fun. Soon it'll be Fowljesse vs. Mooneggs! I'm going to practice my launches in the Police station parking lot.
You did not stop me this time EGR!!
It was a conspiracy between my leaking exhaust manifolds, my maladjusted TPS, slippy clutch, and sloppy shifter, not to mention my Led foot, and boyish exhuberence (and lack of experience).
One day soon, I'll get low 14s!
Thanks for posting this, Cjthor!

By the way, I did 14.7 at 92.99 MPH with the CEL flashing codes for both O2 sensors, a slipping clutch, sloppy shifter, full leather interior, including the junk I should have cleaned out, and wrong set TPS. It was my second race in my life, so I had massive wheelspin, and didn't know when to shift. Once I fix the issues, and put in my headers, short shifter, and HEI w/ external coil, I think I could do high 13s with practice.

Headers, minor difference. Short shifter,,,,I don't think so Tim and finally HEI, well now your talking but 13's? What about your slipping clutch, that'll be your undoing. Hey Jesse for a weight saving why not get an anorexic Midget to drive your car. lol (again Dan thinkin outside the box  )

Bah!
Redoing my exhaust will get me about 9 horsies. The shifter will allow me to spent less time not putting power to the ground, and setting the TPS right, and fixing the O2 sensor prob (exhaust leak, I think) will get back a few horsies. Etc., etc.... but mostly, improving my ability to drive will gain me the .8 second.
Mark my words!! (< Shiz, I realize that last statement just jinxed me).

14.7 sec's minus .8 sec's = 13.9 sec's. I'll watch this post for sure. Nice spanking cjthor.
I guess if I'm going to shoot my mouth off I should visit the track myself and see how badly, er I mean great I do.

Maybe it will be his super-aerodynamic wheel skirts! Reduce his coefficent of drag to the reciprocal of infinity! :freak:
