Drivers Window Switches

Post by Ryan »

Okay boys (and girls?) I know these break for everyone at some point or another, and if you get a spare from a scraped one, it will break too....

Has anyone tried repairing them? I would be interested in trying, I'm pretty good with tinkering with stuff like that. Someone want to ship me a broken one?

Anyone have any idea if its possible? What wears out? The plastic, or the metal contacts? I don't have power windows so I have no idea.

When I break one you'll be the first to know. I've repaired window switches for Toyota before and all I can say is there's usually tiny springs inside so don't open the switchs up unless your at a desk. My springs took off and I was screwed. RYAN, Stop dising Junk Yard parts! If they find out your finished.

I know you believe that you understand what you think I said but I'm sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
