went to the trac on july4 th, going back on august 1st

i went to the trac again with a bunch of friend from our mazda club here in quebec

i tried everything i could to beat my personal record of 13.572, but i only did 13.574, i tried to run against top mazda cars, just to prove myself wrong.it was quite a night;P have to wear a helmet from now on(personal victory lol)

i'M tottally not able to drop my 60' under 2.2, and i dont know why. i have drag radial tires on 14'' rims, dont remember the presure tho. drag launch is set to 4k rpm, and i shift them all at 6.5k rpm. i'm also at the point where i pass the line inbetween 4 and 5th gear...wich i hit cutoff, wich i put the 5'th on, and dosen't have the time to give it a shot...
i wonder is i could start on 2nd gear by building 4-5 psi on drag launch... but it would defenetly explode my tranny.

Your friends FD was bone stock or something? I just ran a 13.2 yesterday with a bad 60', street tires and my FD is near stock. But regardless those mid 13 passes are great for the MX. Its nice that you can consistently run them like that all the time.

the fd is stock, exept for opened intakes

on every rotaryclub the everage for an fd is between 13.5 and 14, so a 13.9 for his first time to the trac was pretty good

cant wait to go back. he ordered some exaust(wont tell me what it is) and the 3speed is gonna be FMIC:P
