Access front speakers -remove speaker grill/door card??

Post by turbine »

Quick question;

I keep having to fiddle with my front door speakers and am getting fed up with removing the whole door card. Is it possible to remove the sqaure shaped speaker grill fixed to the doorcard? It looks as if it is removable but i dont want to damage my interia

Anyone know how/if they come off?

-------------
Also when you use your rear windscreen defrost does the on/off button light up? It looks like it has an LED but mine doesnt light up

Quit being a pansy. Cars take work. Not to mention it only takes about 15 seconds to get the door cards off. Next time fix the speaker completely before putting the card back on.

the speaker grilles pop right off. stick a flat head screwdriver, key, butter knife, etc at the top of the grill and pry it off. It should come off with barely and force

cheers the_anj your a godsend. i thought u might be able to undo them that way but didnt want to break my door trying so thanks again.

I switched one of my front speakers for a rear because it was making a popping sound on having the bass up to loud. A week later the other side is doing it. I think they blow because the screw holes dont quite match up and the speakers bent whilst being screwed in tight which fuks em.

cheers guys
