Projector retrofit

Post by s1zzl3 »

well im starting my newest project
im building a custom set of projectors using the oem housing and the TSX projectors n using gts covers
already have the covers they came in last week and i have the spare headlights
im going to order the projectors sumtime in the new year
im going with the TSX projectors cuz they have a really nice blue tint to it and with a simple mod
i can get a bit more colour n get that beautiful blue and purple flicker most luxury cars have.
ive done alot of research but i jus wanted to no if ther is anything i should be looking out for when doing the retrofit
i no there have been a couple people that have done projector retrofits on this forum and i would like to no wat problems thayve experienced firsthand n wat i should be expecting.

thanks guys

Its not too bad, just make sure you plan what you are gonna do to seal up the rear and mount the projector to. Thats the main problem i had with my retrofit. Good luck with those GTS covers, i tried them and they are WAY off. They came out with this 3 step process compounds that removed the flutes from head light lenses and makes them crystal clear, alot of guys use it for LED taillight retrofits since you need them to be crystal clear.
