Anything Compares to the ZE?

Post by Julz »

Hey guys!
Hope this is the right spot to post. I've had my car for about 4 yrs and the klze in it for 2 yrs. I'm in va right now, but i am moving to la for grad school. I love the car, but it is a little out dated. I was wondering if anything compared to (or was better than) the the pick up, performance, and reliability of a ZE. I'm going to have to buy a car once I get to LA. I was thinking of a 00-02 Celica GTS or a 97-98 240sx se. I don't want a rsx because it is too common--the same reason why I didn't get a 'tegra.

I was looking for something reasonable but with the same ummph as the Ze--not a porshe or diablo. Maybe a 3 series bmw though
Thanks Guys!

The ZE feels great in our cars because of the good power-to-weight ratio. It really depends on how much you want to spend because of couse all the new cars are mch heavier than an mx-3.

Driving my parents '02 Escape the last few feels, I will admit that the 3.0L V6 moved pretty good. Never driver a Mazda6, but I could imagine that motor in a car, plus it being Mazda-tuned for more power would move pretty good. My buddy's Speed6 is a tag faster than me on the highway (mind you with all my system stuff in). The Speed3 definitely feels quicker and handles better than the Speed6, and with the MazdaSpeed suspension and intake, that car felt alot like my Mx-3, i really liked it,

Clever.

Take a look at the E36 BMW M3. That's the '95-'99 model. Looking at it makes me drool. It's an awesome car, you can get them for about 10 grand, and it's basically an MX-3 without the X.

I'm not sure how much you have to spend but a Lotus Elise or Exige would be something quite unique :D

maybe a VW Golf GTI? those things are fast and relatively unique too...

klze is awesome i assume but ive seen a TON of newer cars that are better. I would recommend a mazda 6, ive test driven it and it was awesome.

Was a bit dissapointed at the mustang gts tho(automatic v8) when compared to the ze but i still liked them.. i love the 350z.
