GTR Spoiler Install question

Post by Babymx3 »

I sold my GS spoiler and Im going to get the GTR one off of ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/92-95-93 ... dZViewItem

My question is do I need a hatch garnis from a RS to install the GTR?

Or does the GTR bolt right up where the GS spoiler was?

thanks

That ebay auction says specifically that it is a 4 piece wing. I would asssume that it includes some kind of base that would replace the gs wing. Just to make sure you should email the company. That way there will be no surprizes when you receive the spoiler (that is if you are intending on buying this specific one).

I also have the GTR spoiler and it was four piece. The bottom replaces the GS spoiler. However...if you do have the Canadian GS spoiler, there will be additional bodywork required as the two "screw" holes will need filling where it wraps around the window.

Good ?. Some companies make the garnish and sell it with the wing, some don't. IF you count the wing and its two legs as three pieces I would think that they are selling the garnish too, but I would email or call to make sure. You don't want to leave the car without some sort of wing or cover as it will let water in and rust. Which brings me to my next point. If your wing seals are too old you might consider getting some good used ones or new ones from Mazda. You don't want to get the wing on and adjusted just to find that it needs to come off so you can fix a water leak.
