Finally getting around to posting, Ive had my MX3 for about a month now and have been busy w/ my internship and working on the car in all my spare time. :)

Its a '95, Black, 5 speed with 135k miles on it. So far I absolutely love this car. Looked into this car via this website before I bought it and I have to tell ya I think the website sold me the car more than the dumb kid I bought it from did.

Had a few problems when I got it, rear right strut was SHOT the kid had been driving it like that for a few months. The car idled extremely low, and if you weren't extremely careful starting from a stop, you'd stall 9/10 times. He replaced the disty cap and plugs/wires but that didn't help. Other than that the car was decently clean, I got it w/ only a few small tears in the seats and NO RUST on the exterior. Has a few small dings underneath the shitty paint job that got done. (apparently he didn't like silver and got the cheapest price on paint he could, to get it painted black, now its pealing on the door edges a little)

He asked 1500 for it, I got it for 1100. Put 200$ into it, replaced the PCV valve, rear struts, and bought a bunch of carb cleaner for the throttle body. To make a long story short, I figured out that the EGR valve was gunked up, so I took that off and gave it a good cleaning. Since then the car runs flawlessly, and drives great.

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who keeps this site going, it made ALL the work I did on my car simple and easy to do. Search returns a bunch of great stuff, and there are lots of guides for noobies like me :)

Will be posting a couple q's in the other sections shortly, but for now here is a pic of the car when I first got it, sitting in my driveway. BTW that crappy van you see in the background is what I upgraded from.
