Hatch guard.. is this piece inside or outside.. if its outside.. its called a hatch garnish.. if its inside.. cargo cover..

its the part on the outside, where the spoiler should go.

yeah thats called a "garnish" ive got one laying around if you want it

Is this a cover that fits over the rear spoiler? If so, why? What is the purpose of having a cover on the spoiler.. lost and confused.. i like my little wing back there..

no it doesn't cover the spoiler. It covers the area where the spoiler would be when theres not one. RS models
