Mercery capri, capri xr2 transmission

Hey people ,am new here..I just bought a 94 mazda mx3 1.6 dohc,5 speed,but it needs a new transmission. I also have a ford probe gt with a klze swap,oolt 210 cams,lightweight flywheel,kl36 ecu,headers,exhaust,intake,i thing thats it.Back to my problem,i found a Mercery capri in the junkyard with a i.6 dohc..WILL THIS TRANSMISSION fit the MX3 WITH NO PROBLEM??????Someone told me it will bolt up but the engine mount,and some other stuff will not work,because its a older style b6 engine....Should i get a 1.8 dohc transmission,since they are stronger??
