The US # in that chart is a bit outdated. Nat'l US avg. prices for regular unleaded (per liter) come closer to $.60+... Still less expensive than most countries tho.

If i run low-octane, she just drinks fuel like it's going out of style so I never try to see what a whole tank would get me.

With my ZE, my milleage went up as opposed to my K8. Highway i'll average 450, city about 300-350, and that's with a fuel leak

Nice, I am lucky if I can get 350 on the highway. I run chevron 94 octane or vpower shell which is like 91-92 octane. I notice no real difference in the fuels.

The KLZE JDM 200hp needs premium gas? Wow, I just know. Did you notice a lot mpg drop when you swapped this motor?

How about the KLDE 170hp in US? Still need Premium gas?

My K8 stock V6 with 120K still gets me 22-23mpg city and about 30mpg on the highway, regular gas! Sometimes I spent more than 400dollars on gas and drove more than 3000miles a month....but I spent easily at least more than 300dollars on gas a month.

Thats what i was told. I dynoed with regular gas and stock exhaust piping, no kat , header and resonator and got 162 whp, got the 2.5 and dynoed 165 and had premium gas. I dont think it matters.

You require higher octane gas on a ZE because it's a higher compression motor (10:1). It doesn't improve performance, but it can be reduced if it detects and knocks or pings from power octane. You don't need high octane on a DE because it's compression is not as high (9.2:1, same compression as a K8 I believe.) I've never really ran low octane gas (I never get lower than 91 Octane), but it seems to suck that back really fast when I did try it. As I've mentioned, my milleage went up, an extra 50-100km a tank with my ZE compared to my K8
