broken stabilizer

Post by ketamine »

so my stabilizer was broken when i bought my car, and i didnt notice because it hadnt dislodged yet. but i hit a huge bump the other day and it fell down and wedged into my tire..so i took it off today. gonna try to weld it back together tomorrow to give me a temporary fix until i can get a new one...but i was wondering if there were any other cars that had the same size one to fit mine, since mx-3s are pretty rare where i live. i might be able to go steal one off an mx-3 thats flipped over lying in a field around here, but if not...anyone know if any other car has the same stabilizer?

The only other car I could think of that "might" work is a 323, but since I wouldn't want to buy two stabalizers I would just buy the correct MX one first.
Should be one on here from someone parting a MX-3.

You could also get a GS one for better handeling, but you MUST get the front AND rear and install them at the same time. A GS front with your RS rear would make things worse. ;) GL

The ones from the 323/Protege will bolt-in without any problems except you will need custom end links because the eye is clocked differently. The 20mm bars are hollow and are about the equivent of a solid 13mm bar the 22mm OEM bars are soild like the '96 MX-3 GS's.
