shattered dream of making projector

SO, plan was to open up a civic projector and put on the oem lens on it after sanding it. I opened both lights up yesterday and damn i was shocked what appeared to be a kristal clear lens on the oem headlights turned out to be a yellow ugly lens when it was off, put it back on the lights and its shiny again, in any case that lens was in no shape to be put on the civics right, so i was thinkin maybe ill get a clear lens or something no big deal, but it turns out that there are some very serious fitment issues with the lens, tooo much work, and it definately wont turn out the way i imagined it would, thought i'd post this up so if someone else wants to attept it, they will already know that its not as easy as it seems to be.
