Trunk Panel Fasteners????

I did a search, but to no luck....

I am redoing my interior and most of my panel fasteners broke in the process. Does anyone know where I can find oem replacements without going to the mazda dealership? B/c they cost around .80/ each.... Brands? Part #'s? Any feedback will be appreciated. Thanks!

I went to an auto parts store & they were like 1.50 a piece

and i thought i was stingy

just go to ur mazda please. i did the exact same thing as you and i know exactly what piece you're talking about... i even bought an excess amount of them because i thought more could break easy... a little part like that isn't worth the brain surgery and time required to private-investigate-up their location. one should only do manhunts on parts like cheap timing belt kits and 2.5L engines.. i bought 10 of those fasteners.. so what was that.. like $10?.. yeah, i guess that's pricey when u think about it, but don't think about it.. u can make that money back by serving two tables in a restaurant, both of which would likely devour their meals within half-an-hour..

WTH gusy, you can get packages of them from most any auto parts store. AutoZone, Pep Boys and others carry them cheap. Take one of each that you need to match them up when at the store. Those are super common parts, most every car uses them.

I bought a box of 50 black and 50 charcoal years ago. It was like CN$15-18/ box. I have one of the girls in purchasing, at the time, order them for me direct for the wholesaler. I only need a half dozen of each but a box was minimum order. The rest sat around for years. Except of a few spares in a bag in taped behind a panel in the car. The rest got probably got lost, given away, left in an old car, or got tossed out because I haven't come across the boxes in my junk hardward cabinet in years.

Actually went to Autozone, Checkers and Pep Boys last night.... none carry any that are an exact match where I live. I want my the fasteners to be flush with the panels, so the next move I guess, is the Mazda Dealership...
