painting dash and panels

What is the best thing to use for painting the dash and panels?? Some poeple tell me to use vynle dye??

There's plastic specific paint, even then, their car interior specific paint. What I dont like about them is that they're usually just gloss paint. What works is using the plastic paint as a type of primer and painting over with a nice, and any, metallic car paint, looks nice
