FAQ: Identifying a KLZE.

Post by Custommx3 »

1st of all, you wont find this in a salvage yard in North America unless its in a car that has swapped already. This is a JDM engine.

When buying a KLZE engine, look @ the details below to identify it is infact a KLZE engine.

The Intake Manifold:

The Heads.

The heads should read KL31-101 and/or KL31-1A1

keep in mind some Millena engines have these heads and intake manifold.
They do however lack the pistons and the cams of a KLZE engine.
The millenia KL will also have EGR.

Usually the KLZE can be identified by its rugged charm and fascinating good looks. Most people that end up buying and installing a KLZE report a 30% increase in chest hair growth. Though it hasnt seemed to help baldness (Right Pat? ;) ) it is still considered a passage to manhood in some cultures. Not to mention is a hondaspanking good time for all when you have one under the hood :D Arent you glad you left this post open so other people could post in it Barry? ;) LOL

Is there a way we could get local hosting for images that are going to be in faq threads? Storage space is ridiculously cheap and bandwidth is getting cheaper (my bucket is unlimited bandwidth for $25 a year), theres no reason all of our faqs should have dead links and broken pictures (especially since this faq is only 6 months old). There aren't that many pictures that go into faq's either so it wouldn't be a very big drain. I'd seriously put some money toward it getting done.

Also, your 404 page made me laugh =b
