AutoX 2006-09-03

Post by Macen »

My first time at a real AutoX. I often drive at tracks and so called Superstage, but today I did some AutoX in the wet.
Since it was wet I used my street tires (Toyo T1-R 16"). It was a bit slippery but very fun.
I finsihed third in my class (over 7kg/hp). Next time I think I will be in the under 7kg/hp instead, since I think I have a bit more than 167hp.

Must have been bitchin fun. I've not been to a wet auto-x yet. Good luck in the next one. I hear that auto-x and tracks are completely different to drive and to set-up suspension. I guess I'll figure that out when I grow the balls to compete in auto-x every other weekend.

I probably will refrain from wet track racing again as that's how I busted up my car's paint and windhield seal. Slipped right over 20 feet of run-off and straight through a fence.
