keep getting emails from mx-3.com!!

i keep getting emails stating that someone has posted in a thread that i have a ''topic notification'' and YES i did click the option in the profile so i dont get those kinds of e-mails but i still keep getting them and it is kinda annoying. i selected it to be turned OFF so i dunno what to do now?
