JDM Injectors VS stock
JDM Injectors VS stock
Hello fellows, i have a JDM k8 (not klze) that am about to put in my 1993 gs. The stock engine crapped out. I have to use my stock intake manifold as the JDM intake has a straight neck.
I have the ECU for the JDM engine. Can i just use the JDM injectors on my stock intake since I have the ECU for the JDM Engine? The rails and injectors look the same but the resistance could be different. Am trying to keep everthing as JDM as possible.
Thanks.

If it's at all possible, I would try my darnest to utilize the J-Spec IM and TB. Retain the J-Spec ECU. Using the NA-Spec IM may give some different performance results based on posssible different VRIS points. Small point I know, but it would be nice to massage every HP out of it. This wouldn't be a KFZE would it?

Ok, I have included some pics. The Stock Intake on the left, JDM on the right. I wish I could keep the JDM intake. It seems smaller and looks better for some reason.

When I flip the intakes over, (pic below) I notice the vris points are a little different. The one on the stock manifold has the left one blocked and there is a connection on the one to the right.
However on the JDM Manifold it does not even have a connection on the right one and its uses the one thats blocked on the stock manifold. I guess I need to figure out how to hook it up on the stock manifold as it is on like the JDM manifold since am using the JDM ECU?

P.S. The injectors looks the same except the fuel rail connection for the hose is a bit longer so no biggie just that I have to use a shorter hose.
