from what i've heard it's a rather involving process. i thought their stuff looked pretty slick, and from what i saw, the prices werent too unreasonable either. i have no idea how the durability would compare to powdercoating.

i'd check em out if i hadn't already gotten my gear coated.. hope it comes in handy for someone
