Our EGRs aren't as bad as the first 70's emissions cars were. I wouldn't bother. You could always remove the catalytic converter for a few HP, though. You'll want to leave the oxygen sensors, though, as without them power would actually suffer along with fuel economy.

you pull the EGR you have to reroute all the vaccum lines that ran to it and it will be a bear to figure out what needs to be blocked off and what lines need to go from one point to another (sensors or siliniods).
Honestly, you won't gain much by dumping it. Spend money on headers and exhasut instead of waisting time on the EGR.

honestly you can do it, but you will not gain any poer by removing the EGR, do to the fact that it will close when you go WOT.

And also you will probably not like the amount of CEL's you will get...lol. you will get a good amount.

You'll ruin the valves by running leaded fuel :!:

It will screw up the smog equip. in addition to the valves. I don't know about the cleaning part..hard to believe though.

I've know it will ruin the cataletic converter and your exhaust will smell aweful. As for the valves I cannot see why it would hurt them.
PS, leaded fuel was used for its lubricating quality and is less expensive due to the fact that they distill it less.
Where in the hell are you going to buy it?

yes you can but it has its downsides too. It wasn't meant to be ran in cars with emission equipment, so it may cut the life short on a lot of emission stuff.
