Full Tune Up/Check up/whatever
When should you get this done? And about how much does it usually cost and what does it involve?

I get a full tune up and inspection every 30 K. But that's just me.
Things you want to get at these times are simple things that will go a long, long way. Distributor Cap, Rotor, Spark plugs, Wires, Air filter, Thermostat, Timing Belt ( Recomened every 60 K.) Oil ( i do mine every 1.5K on all my vehicles just because I like my stuff clean =) , Coolant, Brake fluid.
If you have enough money id start hittin up some other things like brake pads, rotors, valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, exhaust manifold gasket, tranny fluid or gearbox oil, )02 sensor ( I do mine mine every 30 K.)
