Help: Pioneer AVH-P7500DVD installation.

I just purchased one of these the other day and upon installin it, i could not get the deck to turn on. there is power to the deck because under the faceplate there is a red flashin light. ground is good,,and same with all the connections...usually a deck is nothin to install,,, just this one is a bit weird..thanks any info will be great.

Simply.
1. Red wire -> accessory

2. Yellow wire (from little black box) -> +12

3. (2) Two black wires (one from little black box) -> Ground

4. Connect separte hideaway unit. And supply +12, accessory and ground to it.

then the unit should power up and work well (but don't forget the light green wire has to be hooked up to the parking brake for video to work............)

and is it a brand new unit or an ebay try your luck?

it is used,,,not from ebay...so i need the hide away unit for it to turn on???

its a 5.1 sound unit. So yep u need the hideaway unit. Check the manual

you don't have to hook the green wire to the parking brake unless you want to be compleatly leagel the better way is to put a switch in by your parking brake and run the green wire into one side then just ground out the other just in case the cops pull you over you can flick the switch and vola no more picture anyway don't be driving and watching movies or i'll have to come and hurt you we have enought stupid people on the road we don't need any mxer watching tv and driving and then get in to any accidents
