hamilton to brantford meet 08/10/05

Post by cdngrl420 »

you have to be at this meet or you WILL be struck by lightening  starts at 8 at van wagners in hamilton cruise thru the link in hamilton then onto the 403 to brantford where we will have a kick butt time at some food place since everyone seems to eat at car meets :dunno: questions concerns whatever call me for details at 519 865 2536

the point of this meet is the cruise not the meeting at some parking to talk thats why its hamilton to brantford so we can :driver: not talk

Hey Patti, that's the spirit. I LIKE IT !!!, FRS radios will be a must on this one then. Hey, make it a little more interesting and take Hwy 20 up to the escarpment and then pick a nice twisty route so we can have some fun on our way to Brantford. We'll need garden hoses once we reach Brantford to cool the engine and brakes off ... LOL This is going to be FUN!!! Ummmmm, should I wear my brown or black racing gloves ...LOL

This could be a good one. Got a few calls out. Just talked to Spinkx79 and he could be in. mx3 money (Brad), here's your chance bud. We'll pick you up on the way at one of the 401 cut-offs. Just give us the specifics of a conveniant cut-off (easy off, easy on) and I'll give you the exact timings. Hey you'll have a few to ride home with too. Deb, you cummin' too? - must be going through withdrawal symptoms by now ... LOL. I'm looking at gathering a couple MX's from my neck of the woods too. Uday, Ian and Krish, where are we going to hook up with you guys? Let me know so I can work on timings. Rafael, u coming? Anyone else ... LETS GO!!!

how about taking 8 south from hamilton, then connecting to 54 north in caledonia to brantford...seems to b the twistiest rd we'v got in that stretch. it extends the trip between the two to about an hr, but i'm sure w/ some creative driving we can cut that down.

for picking me up, i'm game anywhere near yorkdale. i could even wait around there and connect when u get close. kirsh is further west so we could get him around oakville. uday, u wanna come to yorkdale area or a seperate meeting point?
also ANYBODY not mentioned in the toronto area that wants to meet here to catch the cruise, call me at 416-521-5562 (gabor, you coming?).

john, what time will u b passing yorkdale mall area? (allen rd, its just west of yonge)

Yorkdale Mall may take a bit of time, getting to the feeders and so on. I thought that that Mall in Oakville on QEW was a real conveniant place to meet, but can't remember it's name (Oakville Place?) or the exact name of the cut-off (Trafalger?). That way the Mississauge and Oakville gang don't have to back-track. I'm thinking I should be there by about 7:15 - 7:30, traffic permitting, as long as the rubber neckers aren't gawking to see that Air France in the ravine.

Any of you guys going to come out, haven't seen you all summer for the Wednesday or weekend meets except for the Mississauga Meet. What needs to happen for you guys to participate? This should be a fun night.

I would have loved to be able to go to this one, but I have to work at 20:00 in Oakville. Too bad, because I havent been to Brantford since I had school there and I know a place that serves burgers bigger than your head and a small fry that's bigger than a dinner plate. Best place around town! :D

Hopefully I can hit up one of these cruises soon before the summer ends!
