Link to Online Shop Manual

Post by Tunes67 »

You know.. I find myself referencing the online shop manual very frequently ( and yes I plan to donate very soon.. just gotta pay rent first ;) ) Would be kind of cool if there was a link to the shop manual along the top next to the FAQ - Search - Memberlist.. etc.. I apologize if this is a double post.. I didnt see any other instances of this though and it would be kinda handy to have around in the forums. Thanks again for a great site!!

Agreed - and have it open in a new window! Top idea!

I like that too. Would engine swap info follow into a similar category. I know we have the 3 links on the home page but for some reason people either ignore it or are not satisfied with it. The older are cars get the more engine swaps may be happening. Just a thought.

I think that there should be a sticky saying "read the online manual before stating problems." the message in the sticky should say something like: "look in the manual to help solve problems, if problem is not solved or information is not in the manual then inquire on this forum." and where the online manual can be found if there is no hyperlink. well you get the idea anyways, my wording isn't very good.

This is a most excellent idea. Can't count the number of times I've pasted http://www.mx-3.com/95manual with a page # reference into a post. Why, if I had a nickel for every time... it would be enough to buy a few gallons of gas lol...
