miata headlights

This forum is for discussion of topics relating to MX-3 lighting such as Headlights, Tail lights, Accessory Lights, Interior Lights, Etc. For example, Rear Euro Altezza Style Tail lights, Headlight units, LED's, HID's, Bulbs, Interior lights, Neons, Strobes, Auxillary Lights/Fogs or anything filament and gas discharge related.
Also anything dealing with the elctrical system.

might the miata headlights fit the mx with minimun work?.. the shape and size are similar.. i think.. any comments on that?..

somebody did it, and i think they had to either cut the hood or mold the hood down to fit the headlights. not sure.. was it Aiden? anywayz it isnt really an easy job i bet

I think it would be easier to cut the back of the housing off the miats lights, then mold that onto the mx-3 headlight housing. All you have to do then is make the front lense clear.... a few options there.

Wow DA3, a very clean mx. I love the color and front bumper. Of course, those miata headlights compliment the whole car... :2thumbsup:

so you took the entire miata housings and made them fit? and you didn't have to modify the hood? looks very nice by the way

that looks like our stock lights retrofitted with miata lights inside the housing? is that what he did?

icic... they look awesome... but actually.. i m talkin about the newer miata lights.. like from 2000 and up i believe...

the light was from a 2000 miata. the whole housing was use. the hood and the fenders had to be cut to fit the headlights.

wow those look best ive seen, at least they look like they belong there not frogger civic lights that poke out like sore thumb
