Help.. I know I am a retard for asking but help pls.

I have a 93 1.6 SOHC and I need to know what trannies if any other then the the one that came with the car will fit on my engine. Have been looking around for the last two days and managed to find 1 in a boneyard somewhere out west and they want a grand for it. Any help would be super. thx in advance
